Crafting an exceptional presence for a boutique real estate firm 8G Capital Partners is an independent real estate boutique firm based in Cyprus. Their activities focus on maximising the performance of their clients’ assets and are centred around assets management as well as transaction advisory. BLEND was selected to redesign and redevelop their website aiming to achieve a high-end creative look to reflect the calibre of their business; given that their extensive experience in real estate markets, with their unique blend of real estate, banking and finance skills and wide level of contacts and relationships helps their clients extract the most value out of real estate.

When an industry is focused on adding value with exceptional services, the website had to have that exceptional user interface design as well. When we analysed the clients’ requirements, we were inspired to create a different and unique approach on the homepage with full screen images split into diagonal areas. Upon entering the website, you can view a full screen menu. The website design is underpinned by a clean minimal layout content with strong beautiful imagery within the pages. Not to mention the fact that we fully custom designed all pages paying particular attention to the responsive versions for a seamless experience. We purchased stock photography, upon extensive research to portray the locations and global reach of the company. Additionally we created tailored icons to enrich the design. To transpose that unique experience we paid careful attention to the responsive designs on all devices. The objective here was not compromise the high-end experience if you are viewing the website on your mobile, desktop or tablet. To ensure this, we made specific customisations on custom breakpoints, and not only. Likewise, we paid careful attention to many details; one of which is the navigation bar that hides or displays when scrolling in order for the text to be readable on mobile devices. But hey, the devil lies in the details, right? To custom develop a website with such a unique design posed a nice challenge for our developers involved. In order to maintain the skewed menu on the desktop, this had to be stacked on the tablet and mobile versions. Furthermore, they had to be properly adjust it on all screen sizes to ensure readability and usability; which ended up in many hours of coding and finding solutions. Additionally, we had to make the header navigation appear diagonal on all screen sizes. So, they adjusted the size and visibility upon user scrolling to keep all transitions light and fluid for the user. We templated the inner pages on the backend keeping the elegant design simple and adjustable in view of the content. But who said we are not up for challenges? Our web developers crafted the diagonal menu on the desktop and made it responsive and user friendly on all screen sizes. Likewise, we properly aligned the images on all devices keeping their resolution intact. But most importantly the content management system is clean, easy to use and adjustable for the clients’ administrators to add, edit or remove content from pages. We feel proud that this website has been applauded by many people from the clients’ side, and not only. BLEND has been receiving many commendations. As a result our hard work was rewarded with the public awards we received from the popular CSS Design Awards. Specifically, we were recognised and awarded for User Interface Design, User Experience Design and Innovation Design. And additionally special Kudos from the CSSDA jury panel.
