Mesimvria Enterprises Ltd is a specialized Media House centred on the Pay-TV business. Primarily dealing with the creation and management of television rights, alongside the sale of television rights for movies, series and documentaries it was important that they have a credible and solid online presence.
BLEND created a basic website when the company was first set up. As it grew stronger and bigger, they decided it was high time to upgrade their website and trusted us again for the elevation of their web presence.

The initial website we had created for them was relatively old and needed a lot of work to bring out the new desired image that Mesimvria wanted to portray. Fortunately, we had a large pool of great high-quality assets at our disposal.
We wanted to convey a more “entertainment” feel to it. So, we adopted a look & feel that is based on black to help the images and posters stand out. We made use of big photography to be more engaging; while we refined the style-guide and brand-colours to cover their categories, channels and their age ratings. Yet, we deliberately kept the overall design simple, clean, easy to follow and not overwhelming.
The development phase was pretty straight forward. We developed the responsive design using the latest Bootstrap framework. The most challenging aspect of the project was the movies slider where we took extensive care to make it user friendly and optimized for all devices. And also, the channel program. We developed it in such a manner where a user can see a channel’s program of the whole month. Moreover, the user can see what is playing at that precise moment.
The Backoffice was developed in a way that the user can customize everything on his website using the simplest method. Overall the development process went very smoothly, and the project was completed in a relatively short period of time resulting to a very happy customer.
