We were approached by Ancoria Insurance to design and create a clean, professional and corporate look for their website. A website with many pages and many required unique templates to convey the appropriate image in a consistent manner.

Given our vast experience designing well-thought custom websites for financial institutions, such as Forex and Banking organizations, Ancoria selected us to re-design their corporate website. Thus, our design team aimed for a clean, professional and corporate look that still feels light and approachable for an insurance company.
Initially we created an extensive style-guide with lots of elements, such as form styles, buttons, typography, menus and many more. We additionally created a series of templates, blocks and modules to give the flexibility to the Ancoria Insurance team to be able to build their website with their own content. Mixing and matching and combining these elements. But we also created a few selected custom template designs for key pages.
To enhance the user experience, we custom made a series of financial calculators, to assist the end users how to use them. Whereas we also produced a series of custom icon designs and stock photography to enrich the look & feel of their site.
Given that the backend development was undertaken by Ancorias’ IT team, we assisted and supported them with quality feedback to complete the website at the desired level. This resulted to a very happy client commissioning us with additional work such as such as landing pages for specific products and other side-projects too.
We developed a fully responsive design using the latest Bootstrap framework. In general, the development process of the project went smoothly and nicely.
The project became a bit tricky regarding their graphs. The website has about 20 graphs including pie charts, bar charts, area charts and many more. All of these were made with canvas.js which has a very large JavaScript library of graphs. The challenging aspect was the part that we needed to review and study the documentation of canvas.js many times in order to add all of those custom design elements to the graphs of the website. But our talented developers are up for any challenge. And they came through.
The website has also been configured to work with Internet Explorer in addition to the most popular browsers.
